ephilpott is correct on the Chrysler trans. If you are going to need an adaptor plate and a computer to run it, the Chrysler trans wouldn't be my first choice. I'd go with a 4R70w. Or, the 6R80 sounds intriguing. My question with the 6 speeds (whether it is from GM, Chrysler or Ford) is they are all clutch to clutch shifting that takes a lot of programming including engine management to get the proper shift over lap. US Shift has a TCM to do this and claim they have a good algorithm to make it work. I haven't personally felt the shift quality, though I think I'd take the chance on installing a 6R80 if I were to replace the C-6 in my wagon.
