Not sure of the drive part before the actual racing starts but HR's site below has all you need to view it, I think.

The racing and driving doesn't start till Monday. Tech day is Sunday, and that will take all day, I'm sure.

If you just do a YouTube search for Drag Week 2017 Live Stream, I'm sure it would come up for each days event. Or just go to Motor Trend's YouTube page. They're the ones who always stream it.

Yup, should go live Monday morning. Last year they did video the Sunday night test & tune runs, but I don't think it was live, there was a link later.

Updates:
Right after Labor Day this week I took my '96 Mark VIII to my friends body shop for some paint touch up, I need to pick it up by 5 tonight. Paint will probably still be damp lol.

As of 2am today Joel's Coop still hadn't run, but I think he & Jeff still plan to have it ready. They were still finding various leaks, loose parts, etc.

I obviously lack a certain Drag Week element, 'cause there's no way I'd have the guts to run a car that's never even been started or driven. Cudos to Joel!

Got everything packed and ready to go today. I had to weld an exhaust hanger on the truck that broke on the trip back from Beaver Springs this spring. Did the normal procedure and unhooked the battery and disconnected the ignition, and was rewarded afterward with a truck that the engine would not shut off (it started fine), and none of the gauges worked except the fuel gauge. Are you freakin kidding me?!! I unplugged the distributor to kill the engine.

Of course the normal action in such circumstances is to panic, so I started running through my mind how to quickly wire up an ignition toggle switch instead of messing with the wiring and original ignition switch, which would have taken up way to much time that I didn't have. I wasn't too concerned about the temp and oil gauges because the truck never comes close to overheating and oil pressure is always stable. While I was thinking it over, I plugged the distributor back in and started it to make sure it would start. It started and shut off, but still no gauges. Hmmm ???  I started and stopped it two more times and suddenly the gauges started working again. A half dozen tries throughout the day and everything seemed fine and normal. Great!! I fixed that problem! ::)

Drag Week..lol

All I have left is load the car and my suit case. Probably the hardest thing for me so far was to leave my little dog at the Vets to board her while I was gone. She is 17 and this is the first time I have boarded her. I think it was a lot harder on me that it was on her.  :'(

I feel for you, Alan. You get pretty attached to critters when they've been around so long. Sometimes even when they haven't. Hopefully they have some good people there who will love on her.

On the bright side, I've been watching the weather at Cordova. So far it's looking like it will be a pretty darn good week.

I pulled my car in last night after work and installed some new MT drag radials. Plan on leaving them on the whole trip. Already changed oil, flushed trans., put new gear oil in the rear end this time, and gave it a quick once over. Just need to do some final detailing and it should be ready. Would have liked to put a different converter in it, but the stock will have to do for now...

I'm running in Street Race Big Block Naturally Aspirated. They don't run specific classes at a time though, so it'll be hard to find individual people on the live stream.

I made it to Davenport Iowa a little while ago. Motion Raceworks here is having a pre-dragweek party. Quite a few cars & people here. They have a couple food trucks here too, so this is my dinner stop. There is also some kind of internet radio broadcast going on, I don't know the site though.

Maybe that's where I should have stayed. I'm here in Clinton where there's nothing going on except some funky smell.  :o
