I thought that drivetrain was for a 1966 pickup, did plans change? That is a lot of exotic parts.

Well well beyond my paygrade . .

It's going in a 1997 F350 crew cab long bed 4x4.  Like all of my projects they move very slow.

Always been curious.
What sort of cruising range would that have?

Boss 9’s are super cool.....but, in my opinion, you knocked it outa the park by putting it in that OBS F350. I’m a 4x4 guy and I absolutely love it.

This truck had 68 gallon fuel capacity prior to teardown. Plan is to build a new 50 gallon tank in rear with the big pump then keep stock 18 gallon tank to use as a transfer tank.

Assuming the gas stations are no more than 75 miles apart I think we can make it that far . .

Figuring a 2000 RPM cruise at 77 mph in OD hoping it will get close to 10 mpg on 91 fuel so cruising range should be pretty darn good!

Fuel system set up for E50 or even E85 so that will be a big drop in MPG but can still go a long way. 10 mpg is a total guesstimate no clue until we try on 91.

That's the plan!   800hp Naturally aspirated so at 17 psi and 6500 RPM it should make good power! Torque should be phenomenal
