A Y block welded stroker crank

Since billet cranks run up to 5 k these days I am welding a steel 292 crank from 3.3 stroke to 3.75 with a 1.88
Bearing. Should be able to handle 550 horse

 Watch out for the oil hole.

I believe he welds and re-drills the oil hole if necessary.  This guy makes 7 inch Welded cranks for M Farmalls for pulling.    He is a former employee of Adney Brown and was recommended by him

Final results on Y Block welded stroker crank, 292 steel truck crank from 3.3 to 3.75 stroke with Honda journal.  Aprox 350 cubes

3.830 x 3.830 x  3.750 x 6.2832 = 345.63 ci, 3.860 x  3.860 x 3.750 x 6.2832 = 351.06 ci.  My '55 Thunderbird has a 345 Y in it as a driver.  Joe-JDC
