WTB ford racing BOSS 302 8.2 block.
« on: June 23, 2022, 02:11:41 PM »
They seem to be in short supply at the moment, wondering if anyone has a ford racing 302 “BOSS” block, 8.2 inch D.H, 4.125+ bore preferred.

Thanks

Joe

I've got a Dart SHP 8.200" block, 4" bore in stock.  They can be bored to 4.125".

Just not a Ford Boss block fan.  Nodular iron caps and main bolts that look like they came off of a 1972 block.

Just not a Ford Boss block fan.

Though, I do find that the BOSS 302 blocks are a more refined casting, like there might have actually been some real engineers involved, and of better casting material; whereas my impression of the World & Dart products is that of a 'lump' by comparison.    :o

O.K., the bolts generally gotta go, but at least this way I do know whats going in, and who did what to them.   ::)
