Yes, that was Carlisle 2012.  The '67 was found/owned by Adrian Clements, who has bird-dogged some amazing Ford "survivors" over the years.  This car was, as I recall, originally a cop car from Pennsylvania(?).  Randy M

Hey Randy.  Not meaning to hijack this thread, but just wanted to let you know that the 390 I bought from you a few years ago is still running great.
That's great Gregg - glad to hear that.  Still running the iron intake and 4100 carb?  Here's how this old guy installed your intake.  Randy M

Yes, the repair was successful and passed pressure test before I applied an epoxy "topcoat" just for peace of mind.  Randy M

The LocknStitch pinning system is time-consuming but very effective.  Here's a CJ block with similar freeze damage that I repaired several years ago.  Randy M

John V has had one of those manifolds in his "secret stash" for many years, though he may have moved it on recently as he's been brooming a lot of stuff.  Randy M

will these fit a 65 galaxie with 428 ?
No, they will not fit '65 and newer Galaxie.  Randy M

Yeah Tom, that was "Pop's Performance" (in Kentucky)?  They were selling some pretty nice shorty re-pops before they went belly-up.  Right at the last they were also offering stainless steel long tube FE headers too.  Randy M

Here's my best effort.  Everything that could possibly leave the engine compartment was relocated to the inside of the firewall.  Randy M

Dean, the upper part is 3/8" fine thread.  The lower length is equivalent to a conventional long head stud.  As I recall a couple of hardened washers/shims were used on top of the stud nut to bring the end support mount surface up to the level necessary for end support alignment with the rocker shaft.
If these (four) will work for you I'd be happy to trade you for four conventional upper (long) studs if you've got four spares.  If you don't have any to trade you can have these anyway, as you did me a solid last year on that Big F medium riser head.  Let me know - I still have your mailing address. Dean, is this what you're after?  They're from a Dove setup I ran many years ago.  If so, I'll send you an email.  Randy M

FE Technical Forum / Re: porosity fix for long tube manifolds
« on: January 16, 2020, 06:15:41 PM »
A picture of your repair would help BUT I'm betting that your porosity issue will "heal" itself, as the manifold interior will carbon-coat and seal the porosity soon after being put into use.  JMO.  Randy M
