Dean, the upper part is 3/8" fine thread. The lower length is equivalent to a conventional long head stud. As I recall a couple of hardened washers/shims were used on top of the stud nut to bring the end support mount surface up to the level necessary for end support alignment with the rocker shaft.
If these (four) will work for you I'd be happy to trade you for four conventional upper (long) studs if you've got four spares. If you don't have any to trade you can have these anyway, as you did me a solid last year on that Big F medium riser head. Let me know - I still have your mailing address. Randy M
