No problem Heo, I'll go out and measure mine and post it a little later today if no one has chimed in before.

Heo, my rails measure outside just under 29".  I measured them at the point where the rails come down from the engine compartment and curve parallel with the ground.  They then appear to taper inwards until they terminate after the trans crossmember. Hope that helps!

A Jaglane - should be an interesting project!   :D

Well then there is plenty of space. 34inch if i have the right information,  I Will have it delivered tomorrow
So i can start meassuring.
I think it can be great, vented discs,4 pistoncalipers, rpstearing ,about same tracwidth, getting rid
of shocktowers ,wheight 260lbs with pallet paid about 100USD. It unbolts from the jag as a complete unit
Dont know yet if we weld it in or bolt it on

Ok, will report back later today.  Luckily my car sits at more or less stock ride height.

I do have the chassis repair diagram for the 1967 Fairlane wagon. Front is the same. If you need it.

Heo, ok the distance from the ground to the bottom of the frame rail at the center of the front tire is about 14".  My car is about at stock ride height but the front tires are probably a little taller than stock.

I may have misled you about the width of the front frame rail: yesterday I measured the width of the rails behind the torque boxes.  From the front of the torque box forward, the rail is a box section which has an outside width of 33 3/4".  The box section itself is about 2 3/8" wide, so that gives an inside dimension of 29".  Bruce

Thanks katz but when i started to use my head i remembered
a friend have a 66 in a rotisseries  ::) He also had the shopmanual
With those repair diagrams

Thanks Bruce

I have the frontend at home now
The Width between the towers for the upper  A-arms is 34+ inch
So the framerails fit down between them, with 14 inch from Rail
to ground i think the height will  be about right without modyfie
framerails
