For all that trouble and expense they only gained about 5 horsepower and foot-pounds. I assume that the limit for power was elsewhere, possibly the cam.
1969 F100 4WD (It ain't yellow anymore)
445 with BBM heads, Prison Break stroker kit, hydrualic roller cam, T&D rockers, Street Dominator Intake with QFT SS 830.

Wow!
Spend over $3,000.00 (dual carb tunnel port manifold, dual fitech, fuel system upgrades) all for 5 HP?

I would have loved to see 2 carbs on the tunnel wedge.
However, this was an advertisement for fitech.
No back-to-back testing against a carb would ever be permitted.
These television shows are not free - advertisers pay.

If it was tuned you can be sure it would meet or exceed the carbs numbers  However if you get the best guy tuning the EFI and the best guy tuning the carb they should turn out to be just about the same in the end... So maybe.........
In that environment all you are asking it to do is make power . Its off the Dyno and in the car that the big difference occurs.
