setting valves on solid cam for dummies
« on: June 20, 2020, 03:48:58 PM »
i got some new crane adjusters to replace the stock adjusters, and need a dummy look at how to adjust them.. Ive tackled it before and had poor luck. BUT not to give up,, I need to change out the wore out adjusters and have another crack at it., cam calls for .018 valve adjustment, so would really appreciate a idiot proof way to set it up.

thanx

If you have aluminum heads, set the lash .006" tighter when it's cold.
