What years/versions of 427s caught steel flywheels?
Thanks,

Perhaps I imagined them. Did 427s catch a different grade of iron? I have a wheel here with the reliefs around the bolt heads and a relieved area at the very inner of the clutch mounting surface that I though to be a 427 flywheel.

As far as I know, OEM 427 manual trans flywheels were all cast iron.
