Center an original cast bellhousing?
« on: July 24, 2017, 09:03:27 PM »
Do I need to check the centering of an original cast bellhousing that is on an original cast engine block? Early 70s 390 block, C5AA-6394-A bell, TKO trans
I'm not worried about buying the tools needed but I am worried about doing it wrong or second guessing a reading and screwing something up.
Thanks in advance

Shop manual tells you how to do it.

I'm not asking how to do it. I'm asking if it should be done when NOT using an aftermarket bell?
