From everything I've heard from people, you could subtract a couple tenths off that time at any normal dragstrip, being that Beaver Springs is entirely uphill.

Good to know.  This was the first time I ever drove it.  We only got 4 passes and the last run was the quickest, while having the worst 60 ft.  I was learning the car but at the same time it was increasingly working against itself, a bad vibration began coming through the shifter, and it tried to kick out of 3rd gear, so we put it on the trailer.

UPDATE!   Replaced 700 Holley with the 950 Holley 3 barrel, rebuilt the BI/BO top-loader (almost everything new inside, it was in bad shape), new clutch and raced at Keystone in New Alexandria PA on Sep 25:
11.63 @ 119.2
11.67 @ 117.7
12.10 @ 119.5
11.79 @ xxxxx
Very good weather.  The rear suspension needs work; trying to launch above 4000 make the car jump straight up - one big jump, not wheel hop or tire shake.  Best 60 foot this day was 1.75

Nice jump in performance. Lots of extra power needed for 7 mph gain.
