On a similar note, Edelbrock logo can be removed from Streetmaster and Edelbrock water pump. Not really trying to fool anyone, just maintain more stock look and lose weight on front. This 9.5 C.R. 390 is not a sleeper….it is mostly asleep.

Used die grinder with aluminum burrs, lots of emery paper on wood stick and retextured with sand blasting.

Milling down just enough to remove the lettering, and leaving as much material as possible surrounding the two bolt holes, can the Edelbrock engraving be safely milled off the face/end of the cylinder head?

I did mine in approx 10-15 Min each. About the same time to do the Edel water pump too.

I removed the logo on my "E" heads at work on our horizontal boreing mill...Took longer to set it up than it took to do the cut..Took off .015 to remove the logo..Very simple and quick to do...

I see no reason why JB Weld/Devcon or Marine Tex couldnt be used to fill the lettering..They all should tolerate the heat.

Thanks to everyone for the input.  A lot of nice looking engines as well.
