Does that mean Roush is getting out of the FE business?  No more availability of a Roush crate 427?

Man, that is cheap!  My timing cover castings cost more than that, and that Roush cover is a fully machined part.  Nothing like a little volume from the foundry to bring down the price...

I feel kind of stupid asking because I'm not sure

I feel kind of stupid asking because I'm not sure: Are all FE timing pointers interchangeable as far as the bolt pattern to the timing cover?

I recall SCJs got unique pointers but have no idea how they varied vs common pointers?

Do find it surprising Roush does not have a pointer listed because it's such a natural and simply a nice convenience for potential buyers.  Maybe I just missed it?

LOL there were (5) noted as selling in the last hour (make that six with mine). Roush should say thank you to FE POWER.NET

No, there are different styles and different patterns for bolting them on. Don't ask me which got which, because I never really cared which one was correct for which car/engine.

Is there something special about this cover? The Ebay add won't even show the original listing since all you jokers bought them out...lol
It looks to me to be a regular timing cover with nothing special about it. Why not just use a Ford piece then, which can be bought for much cheaper?

There is nothing special that I can tell. The way I look at it, some people are asking for quite a bit more for a factory cover, especially if it is NOS. So why buy a possibly beat up old cover or good used one for so much, if you don't need #'s matching? It seems reasonable to me for a nice looking new part. Not trying to argue, just voicing my mute opinion.

In case the original listing link won't work, here's the pics:

Hey, that's good enough argument for me! It's also something that I'm guilty of nearly 100% of the time. ;D  It certainly is a nice looking piece, and I like how every bolt hole is closed. That certainly helps for leaks.

Not sure, I know I saw pictures of one on display at the Grand National Roadster Show this week.

But with something like that from Roush I'm sure they don't do small batch like your stuff Jay, so they probably have plenty to sell off.

That has to be an inventory cleanout deal.
I purchased three of them.
