for a decent price. Were they a well made product? I figure it was made in the late 70's-early 80's. 428 balance for my 428 crank.
On the FEForum my car weight and gearing/trans made it streetable. Car weight just under 3000#.
What's the quality? I'll be using a Lakewood Bell.

Zoom was always a good brand back in the 70's / 80's. I remember that we used Zoom clutch and pressure plates in our oval track Ford with no problems. Should be a good flywheel.

As long as it has a steel heat shield riveted on so it is replaceable, if it is bonded on, or not a steel or bronze face (solid aluminum...) then pass on it.

I did check and it is riveted
So I'm going ahead with the buy.

Purchased the Aluminum flywheel and it arrived today.
Sold on HAMB as a Zoom flywheel but the casting and sticker both say Weber and it's stamped #52510
What's the quality of Weber vs. Zoom and is the 52510 for a 428 balance? There are steel balance weights in the flywheel that are about the same location (180~ apart) as the holes drilled in my Ford 428 wheel. Got to check that closer-------------- It does have a riveted steel clutch facing.
Thanks

Weber was a good brand back in the day; maybe Zoom purchased them or Weber was renamed or something? I wouldn't be hesitant to use it because it says Weber on it...

+1 with Jay. 'Back when', Weber was as good as it got.

Jay and KS (Ken?) thanks. I had a Weber in one of my Model A's (SBC however) and it really revved quick. It was way too much a handful to drive with a 5.13 posi. Swapped to a 3.70 and SBF for a trip from Michigan to the Memphis Street Rod Nats. in 1975. The SBC is still on a stand in my shop here in Oregon.
