Jay, I think Joel is really getting used to that Automatic transmission. He spent all yesterday cruising around with his wife in the parade cruiser. With dedication to getting his Hot Rod done like that I think he is going to owe me a nice Texas Roadhouse meal next year.

Those automatics suck you right in, alright.  Like an evil woman  ;D ;D

These may be my two favorite photos from Drag Week 2015.  My former trunk monkey trying to milk a bull, and being gored for his trouble  ;D ;D ;D

Your right, I'm getting used to it. But I can't wait to start rowin' the gears on the T56 magunum!

That Hemi Torqueflite is one crisp shifing trans. Yesterday was a great day for topless cruising. (the car, not the wife) The leaves are turning their fall colors of orange and red, plus warm breezes and sunshine. We were just going to be out for an hour or two, and it ended up to be all day.

I've got all winter to work on the hot rod, no sense getting all in a rush. Drag Week isn't until September.

Sure, I suffer a near fatal bull attack, and you are amused.  Does the trunk monkey abuse never end?   :P  I was getting bored with no FE to fix.  ;D

That bull does have a strangely satisfied look on his face when he is getting milked...

Leigh just got his car back on the track this fall after a long sabbatical.  I think the message on Jeffs shirt was quite self-explanatory.

I remember that race!  I beat Steve by a fender, but I redlighted.  Back in the pits I said to Steve, "I won!".  Steve said, "Yes, but you cheated."
