For those of us who just can't get enuff Drag Week stuff, the Artist Formerly Known as Trunk Monkey, yours truly, has put a bunch of pics and a story up on moparts.

Jay, I think Joel is really getting used to that Automatic transmission. He spent all yesterday cruising around with his wife in the parade cruiser. With dedication to getting his Hot Rod done like that I think he is going to owe me a nice Texas Roadhouse meal next year.

That Hemi Torqueflite is one crisp shifing trans. Yesterday was a great day for topless cruising. (the car, not the wife) The leaves are turning their fall colors of orange and red, plus warm breezes and sunshine. We were just going to be out for an hour or two, and it ended up to be all day.
I've got all winter to work on the hot rod, no sense getting all in a rush. Drag Week isn't until September.(http://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/default/drinking.gif)

We we very close until the Evac. system Jay had installed was put into action.This picked him up a tenth and a half.Both cars were running mid tens.

It's May and you still haven't done anything to the Hot Rod. That steak dinner is looking like a sure thing...

If he loses the bet, he will pay up. I've been on plenty of vacations with Joel. No worries about that.
But I WILL be ordering 2 servings of shrimp! LOL.
