Actually I think it is completely understandable.  Roger is a distributor for Coon's products, and has an investment with Coon.  He has a financial interest in promoting Coon, and discrediting his detractors.  That's why he will bash me, and anyone else who tells the truth about Bill Coon's business dealings.  Roger's motive is just old fashioned greed.

Got it now. As a distributor and not just a booster, it does makes sense. Hopefully, this will all go away some day.

Here's a 5.0L crank I got back from Bill Coon, took this picture before it went to the scrapper.

Legal notice to Bill Coon: a 429 DOVE-A block, two standard bore 289 blocks and a 6" Kurt vise a still in dispute.  The rest of the stuff you stole I realize I will never get back but I know these were still in your possession as of late 2012.

Another picture of the Wells Index showing the table, I can post only one picture at a time using this forum's picture attachment option.

I'm in no way defending Mr. Coon, but the rusty 63 Fairlane can not be all his fault.
They started rusting coming down the line.
The mill is a shame. Obviously left out in the elements. No excuse for that!

It was a rusty Fairlane before Coon got his hands on it.  A previous owner had patched it.  It was savable as a Rat Rod or to make into a drag car.  But when I got it back, after sitting in Coons swamp, it was past saving and was scrapped.

Coon also broke off the light on the Wells Index.  It has no rust before arriving at Bill Coons, in fact it was fairly oiled down.  I managed to sell it - for dirt cheap.

Its just an unbelievable circus.  Roger Gordon is seriously deranged, calling good people liars and acting like Coon is an honest businessman.  I got a charge out of his claim that "Bill Coon is not a rich man".  Looking at Coon, you wouldn't think he is, but I have it on pretty good authority that his property is rather valuable, sitting on a rail spur line next to some kind of an environmental services plant.  According to someone I trust Coon was offered $1M for his property, but turned it down and counter offered $1.2M.  Apparently then the deal fell through.  Anybody who turns down a million bucks for a 3 acre run down property like that is not exactly poor...
