Road Test

Did a road test today. Drove it in to Porters Lake. It's about 16 miles on the old #7.
Car ran great, I'm about as happy as an old car guy can get.
The Jerico works prefect.
It's ready to race on the 20'th. Ye Haw!

Needs a wee drink.


No leaks. :P



Ya she's a smooth shifting box. ::)

Thought that's what they looked like. I have the 1 3/4" headers by Ed on mine with five bolt together tubes that snake all over. Look cool but are a pain to r&r. I have decided when I go back through my engine and get the headers powdercoated, I only have one choice, flat white. I think that is the best color for contrast and period correct appearance.

If we had someone who knows how to drive, it should run into the low 11's.
BUT with me at the helm, as long as I don't break it I will be happy. ::)
Weather may be on our side for at least one day.
Will you be in town this summer, we have a big BBQ on Canada Day. :)

No, going to be hanging out in the southland this summer; going up to the York PA US-30 Reunion and Nostalgia Nats 11-12 July. 

The NS family is with us in VA now, enjoying the 35C+ temps.  Kiddies spend all their time in the pool or at the beach.

Best of luck at the track...if the Fairlane runs well and isn't traction-limited you'll get a good indication of real-world HP.
