Seriously - That 427 truck and your Ecoboost truck need to be in Ford's booth at SEMA.  Those builds are more than worthy  ;D ;D
A careful study of failure will yield the ingredients for success.

VERY NICE JOB. I LOVE TO SEE THE 66 GETTING SO MUCH ATTENTION NOW WITH AFTER MARKET PARTS. MY FIRST TRUCK WAS A 66 F100 CUSTOM CAB. I WAS 14 GOING ON 15 WHEN WE BOUGHT IT. THERE WERE NO FLOOR PANS THE SEAT WAS BOLTED TO A 2X4 BOLTED TO THE FRAME, BRAKES DIDN'T WORK , AND THE TRUCK WAS BEATEN UP PRETTY BAD. THE DRIVER DOOR HAD BEEN PEPPERED BY BIRD SHOT AT ONE TIME AND THE GUY USED TO GET FIREWOOD AND HAD ALL KINDS OF DENTS AND CREASES IN THE BODY. IN THE LATE 80'S MY ONLY OPTIONS WERE JUNK YARDS AND HOPEFULLY FINDING A VENDOR IN THE HEMMINGS BOOK. ANY WAY IT WAS PAINTED RANGOON RED AND WHITE SIMILAR TO YOURS. I DID THE BODY WORK AND MECAHNICAL WORK TO IT OVER A FEW SUMMERS AND DROVE IT IN PRIMER TO SCHOOL. I STILL HAVE THE TRUCK AND DRIVE IT WHEN I CAN. ONE DAY I HOPE TO RE-DO THE BODY AND PAINT THE WAY YOU HAVE. YOU HAVE A DONE AN EXCELLENT JOB AND GIVES SOME HOPE THAT I MIGHT GET TO FINISH MY 66 ONE DAY. LOOKS GOOD KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

Love the 66!  A true work of art.

I may have missed what you're using for front suspension.  Retaining the twin I-beam setup?

I have a 66 F250 C/S that I tow my race trailer with.  I added a 67 power steering setup.  The steering seems to need more caster to be a little less twitchy.  Alignment shop reported that the truck has around one degree caster currently, but said they were unable to adjust it. Suggestions?

Thanks!

Thanks! Yes I did retain the stock I beams. I added 14" Baer 6p brakes on all four corners & it does have power brakes although need to add a vacuum pump as only 8" vacuum. There is a local shop here that says they can put more caster into it. I do have my own alignment stuff along with turn plates. I will check to see where its at for caster I may be able to find a way to change it on my own. If its only 1 deg I prob would not dare to go WOT for long and most likely not even a 1/4 mile.   I have seriously thought about making my own I Beams.

I also have a 1966 F250 C/S Ranger. It has a Prototype 3.5 EcoBoost along with 6R80 Automatic.

These two trucks are competing trucks for dyno, 1/4 mile etc and should be quite close although I think the 3.5 will put down more power to tire over the 482. 1/4 Mi probably too close to call as the 482 Truck is expected to be lighter.

On my 1966 F250 C/S I used 1975 I-Beams as they have 2-3 deg more caster built in as do all 1975-79 Beams

That's interesting...may be the solution to my caster issue.  I'll keep my eyes open for a salvage 75-79 2wd truck.  Would sure reduce the white knuckles when I'm towing around semi trucks!

Ride height also drastically effects caster. Lower ya go the more + Caster you get.
