I like how the air cleaner tucks in neatly under the cowl. No butchering required. And the factory hose clamps make it look "right" too. Pretty darned sweet F100!

VERY NICE!! I like that you retained the twin I-beam front suspension too.

Goal was to bring it back to new with proper 427
But with Overdrive, Big Brakes (which forced big wheels)
Wheels were as retro as I could get.

It’s 2500 hours ish right now.

I started to add up the $$ and at just the 22
Most expensive items it’s quite surprising so I quit counting.
18 1/2 yrs of spending $$$ a few here a bunch there.

Today was going to be first drive day but ended
Up with a horrible tooth ache.

Yep, a very large % of these trucks are getting
The CV or other swap fronts. Too nice of a truck to start cutting up.

Dad and I discussed doing a Crown Vic clip for our 62'. They just seem to suck the coolness out of the truck.  No doubt it would make for a nice ride though. But not any better than twin I beams with factory rubbers.

even with money and time spent , you will get a lot more thumbs up than a new F-150 for say 60,000  dollars.

How is the Fitech working out. Was wondering if there was a lot of adjusting that goes along
With it. Hope you feel better so you can drive it

Man that thing just keeps looking better and better. Beautiful!!
What is that power steering pump bracket off of? I don't recall seeing a cast bracket used with that style of pump before. And that air cleaner lid looks like you can just BARELY get it off and on. It's cool that it fits though; it just wouldn't look the same without it.

Finally got to run it long enough today up to operating temp for first time.  All settings @ default except for basic info like cubic inch and what I wanted idle to be. All settles down to a great idle although a bit high as did not know what it would like. 900 in vid I will post at bottom.

Now I can start to adjust a few of the settings but overall up to this point was awesome especially for the dual quad system with a 233/236 solid roller cam.

Will update as I learn how to tune as this is a first for me.

P/S bracket is a stock 352 Truck.  The air cleaner is a bit tight but looks great that way. Only way to install or remove is top then filter then bottom. Will not come out any other way. Prob a finger width between air cleaner and cowl. Very close to firewall too. Looks like it belongs there! HA
