Stunningly beautiful truck.. I consider 66s the best of breed for that series.. Beautiful dash compared to previous years...Those wheels are killer.. What are they?

Thanks Royce!

Wheels are custom made by Schott
Because of 14” Brakes 18” wheel minimum

18 x 8 front
18 x 10 rear

I wanted something that kinda had the Halibrand look.

Very similar to 1966 Miura also.

Bed is 100% bare Metal right now. Hoping to have it painted and
On truck within 45 days. “Hoping”.
Still need to re-upholster bucket seats but rest of truck close.

It was only Wheel I thought would fit what I wanted
Overall truck to look like when done.
9 yrs ago decided that’s Wheel I wanted.

Talk about sticker shock the day I went to order to
Find out the new price had gone up 50%!

It was like buying FE parts!

I sold one of my 1966 EcoBoost Trucks to be able to buy the wheels.

Another sticker shock were the 14” 6p brake system.

Brakes
Tire wheel
GV OD.
Dual Quad EFI
Just those 4 items cost more than total amount I thought I
Could restore entire truck for.
And as you said more than any total for my other restoration s

Hi Leny!

Have not driven it further than just on my own property.
Been busy trying to get box and tailgate painted.
Trying to get it done for next weekend GoodGuys.
Hoping to finish paint on box this evening then Monday a friend supposed to stop
By to help me drop it on.

Still have a ton to do so not sure if I will make it. Simply running out of time!

A bit more progress. The box and tailgate now painted along with hood!  Only a few more days left until GoodGuys. Still so much to do!
