Just a quick post before heading to the track, and I'm still having some issues with pictures. I'm taking them, I'll just have to come back and add them in later. The weather front went through and it turned much cooler in Great Bend ( as predicted ). We went through the usual routine and Joel went up for his pass - 13.88. Much quicker than anywhere else. But Joel said it was missing on the top 3rd and 4th gears ( he's not getting into 5th in the quarter ). Nothing obvious stood out as the cause. We fiqured either fuel or ignition related. He made another pass - 13.85, but again with the same issue. MPH is also down about 10 MPH. My quess was that the air was maybe that much better and now it was lean, or maybe now not able to use the couple degrees more timing we had added earlier in the week. Joel has an air-fuel meter but it's on the floor. He decided to try and mount it somewhere he can see it down track tomorrow. Lots of drama in the last 15 minutes at the track in Unlimited, I won't detail that, you can probably get more info online. We took off for Tulsa and had a smooth trip there. All that's left is to make it to the track from the hotel one more time.
