pbf777 you can write all you like but your not going to change the minds of millions of car owners whose car came factory with electric water pumps or the masses for drag and drive cars for the last 20 years of drag week etc!
Again, the/my purpose is not "to change the minds" of anybody, rather just provide "food for thought" and maybe receive insight from others in the process. As far as for cars that may have "came from the factory with electric pumps" those aren't relevant to subject here, and as I said "I'm not against electric water pumps", this is just attempting to be a conversation about electric water pumps and their capabilities.

And, seemingly the conclusion here, by some of those that has been voiced, the loudest, is basically "this is how we (or somebody else has) always done it", and though we haven't explored or made any observations of the pro's & con's other than this "seems" to work, so we ain't gonna change, no matter what anybody else might say, we just don't wanna hear it! This just doesn't really sound like a good argument, does it?
If it were, we might still be riding the horse!
