lower hose numbers
« on: August 05, 2022, 07:44:56 PM »
So I have a crossflow in my mustang and my lower hose is 2 hoses that I cut up and made one with a union. I had a little book with part numbers in it because it took me forever to figure out which 2 hoses would work. Now of course when you want to find it I cant. I cant be the only one that has done this Ive seen it on a few cars. If somebody has the numbers that would be great.

A couple times over the years I’ve needed a radiator hose for a non stock application, I was able to find auto parts stores that actually had a paper catalog, with diagrams & dimensions, and picked out something that would work. The key of course was finding someone with that actual catalog, and not just entering an application in the computer. Those paper catalogs do often still exist, but you might end up ordering one from the manufacturer, if you don’t have an auto parts store that still has stuff like that. If you have a large NAPA nearby it’s possible they might.
