On stepsons 66Fairlane we used a complete frontend from a Jaguar XJ12. Xj6 and daimler is the same,
Virtualy free compaired to those kits. He paid 300$  Come with  big brakes four piston calipers pads the size of a
dollar bill, vented rotors, power r/p steering, big swaybar similar width  downside is Chevy 4 3/4 bc
I recently bought one from a lowmilage Daimler V12 that hit a moose, for 600 $

The mustang II style kits create comprises and other problems.

I put a RCMotorsport MII front suspension on my '65 Mustang and while it runs down the road ok I agree there are compromises. If I had it to do over again I would be looking at a strut suspension from AJE suspensions.
