here is the car in spray can black :)

cut the old driver rocker panel pieces off (3 separate pieces),, and set up and welded the one I took off a parts car.. soon as I clean off the car and drive it outside,, I will get a better picture of the whole car.. Will be the first time I can take pictures of both sides and not be ashamed :)

the motor as it looks

have the rear window and front windshield in now. The car hasn't had a windshield in 8yrs,, so big day :)

also interior is in,, seats and most carpets,, waiting on the ebrake handle and then finish carpeting and painting

I have all my fuel lines ran, floor is all complete, ebrake cables and rear brake lines ran,  front end is cleaned up, brake lines secured  and painted, just waiting for new oil pump and pushrod to show up then the new canton oil pan can go on and motor/trans can be installed

then hopefully get it safetied and drive the hell out of it :)

also extended the tips of the sidepipes so they stick out abit, looks a lot better. bit of bodywork and good to go

motor is back in, finishing up the tunnel ram then bolting it in and wire it up. if it doesn't work I always have the dual quad to fall back on

coming together slowly. I did try and start it yesterday but my battery is toast, so will take one out of my daily driver.. video to follow if it starts.. good news is no fuel leaks around the injectors or rails :)

Great Stuff!
This must be the first time you put pressure to the rails?
I always wondered if they would hold. ;)
Hope to see you bring it in town for some cruise night or something.

no I did last fall and the rails held up great. just the tubes were off set and all different planes,, so I got my friends dad to tig new bungs on, and he remembered he sucked at tig welding and melted all my new bungs. So I bought new tubes and used the spool gun at work and  put them at the angle so my throttle cable would fit proper.. Ive got a lot of flack for having them at an angle but we will see if it works. I got a new pressure regulator and it works proper and not feeding fuel into my engine so that's a bonus.
I do plan on getting it on the road in august and driving it, at least to work and around

It will work fine with the injectors at an angle like that.  The angle is not that extreme; I've seen setups where the runner is nearly horizontal and the injectors are vertical, and they don't have any problem.

You may want to throw a couple clamps on the bypass hose before to try to start it again.

Looking good. I like how you ran the cage behind the fuel cell. Thanks for the updates.
