got a 64 Falcon racing apron to try out on my 62. The guy that makes them and I decided to cut it in 3 pieces incase it needed to be shortened or lengthened and to ease install. I just taped the ends up, and seems to be about 2 inches or so longer then the 62 so the 64 is wider. Anyways, spent a few minutes to mocking up the ends so get a feel to how much work I will need to make it fit right.. Once I get more time on it I will take better notes and better pictures, but till then heres a sneak peak.

That's going to look pretty good!  I like new style gauges in factory type surroundings...

Hey, that's pretty cool! Did you cut an oval air cleaner lid to make that top? It looks pretty neat with the fins and 427 badge.

I thought you were going with a 2x4 carb set-up? What made you change your mind? I also think you may need a bigger throttle body to feed that engine! :)

yes it was a Cobra oval air cleaner

then I ground down the Cobra

I wanted to use my scoop I made  (I really liked that one) and keep it under it instead of raising it 6 inches. I don't think it would of looked right.

I will be getting a new throttle body once its all done up,, Accel makes a 1000cfm one and will be using 42lb injectors.

Got my fuel rail holes drilled yesterday, thank you Howie (ScotiaFE) took some pictures of the rails installed with injectors. I misplaced 1 injector but they are just mockup ones anyways..

managed to find a Torker intake Friday so I will be using that to break in the cam and check for leaks, etc. till my fuel injection intake is finished.

cleaned the intake, painted my headers and motor, timing cover, etc. anyways, hoping to break in the cam next weekend. Video to follow if I get that far.

heres what it will look like in the meantime.
