Nice build!

Do you think the factory 2x4 and carbs would yield more power?

That's a bit better than the Ford advertised 425hp  ;D

We have a dyno sheet on a high riser that was intended as a 100% stock rebuild, made 530hp with the 2x4 intake.

Absolutely.

Or Jay's intake adapter with a big fat single plane.

Which cam Brunson?

I'll look for you this weekend. If I remember right it was a comp custom grind trying to mimick the factory cam. Not quite an exact match but close.

Well, dynod my Nhra stocker blueprinted high riser.  Untouched ports in the heads and intake support power well in into the 600s.....solid flat tappet cam with .524 lift.

Any specs on that one as an NHRA stocker vs a Ford delivered version?

Filled block, thin rings, bbc rod journals, 20+ more duration, better valve springs, valve job, .013+ stroke, compression is just a tad over 15, 3 step headers......

Certainly makes sense.   I bet that is a stout machine!

Almost enough compression to run on diesel fuel ;)

Who makes rings for a 4.24 bore?? I thought the closest was a .017 over which would be a 4.25 bore.
