"Tight" is an understatement, but it can be done.  Lots easier to install the headers while the engine is going into the car than to try to get them on with the engine bolted in place.  Ground clearance is another issue.  I'd go with FPA tri-Y headers for ground clearance reasons.  Test fit them with the engine and trans hooked together in case you need to grind anything (a block boss, transmission case, etc.) to make them fit, and then install them with the engine/trans.  Usually I can get those installed with the driver's side header bolted on from the start, and then after the engine and trans are in position but still up off the mounts by 6" or so, bolt the passenger side on, then drop the engine down onto its final position.

What jay said x2. Out of necessity, lack of equipment, a small driveway and my inexperience it took probably 30+ hours to get FPA's installed correctly in my Fairlane. It's tight. I could not even get mine in with just the short block installed. Definitely mock the long block up attached to the trans and with the headers installed to check for interference if at all possible. I had to grind part of the block boss and bell housing on the drivers side from under the car with a Dremel as it's the only tool that would fit in there. 2 words.. "not fun". I cannot see what PS setup you have in there but watch for hose and cylinder clearance if it's similar to the stock setup. Good luck!

Yeah, that shouldn't draw ANY attention from the police....lmao 8)

Glad this thread came back to the top. Hadn't seen it before.
I had no idea that Dove even made a tri-power tunnel wedge. Seems like a goofy thing to make UNTIL you added fuel injection to it. That's a very cool set-up.

Looks like an awesome car, and sounds really good. If I were you, I would find where the local police hang out and make friends....maybe buy them some coffee and doughnuts. ;)

Car is now up and running it has gone through all the engineering certificates and road worthy certificates that are required over here to register a modified vehicle  . I am very pleased with the end result I don't have to tell you guys but this thing  sounds wicked and performance is quite scary ,once the outer throttle bodies open all hell breaks loose .
