My shop flooded last year quite badly and it was one hell of mess to clean up and deal with.  Homeowners ins of course would not help.   I am not sure if this is likely to happen again or not but I may potentially have to move - AGAIN.  I am not interested in moving this amount of iron again so I in the next few weeks I am going to be posting a bunch of stuff for sale, I just posted 10 428 blocks over in that section.  I am starting on forums because they seems to be the last place on earth that is not overrun with morons and idiots.  I will be listing all the 428 CJ/SCJ stuff next.

On that same note I am also beyond burnt out and pretty tired of dealing with the amount of people I have to in this parts sales world.  So I am unloading parts to get into a different income stream. Since the "covid" it seems like dealing with people is remarkably more difficult and I do not have the patience for it anymore.  I am trying to price things to move out pretty quickly.

All that being said if you know me, or don't yet and are looking for anything in particular - give me a ring.  I have not started to inventory the 427 stuff yet to see what is staying and what is leaving, but it is next after this push.

#8 - 428 - A Scratch 4.190 Block 6L1 Date - This was a running engine I took in trade - I disassembled for inspection - the bores are nice and clean with no ring lip at the top - $850
#10 - 428 - A Scratch 4.185 Block Fresh Bore - 6E13 Date - With new Speedpro L2303NF Forged coated 4.190" pistons and pins - Bores coated with grease - $1250
#11 - 428 - 1974 Service Block STD, Needs 1 Sleeve 4E13 - Core engine that needs a sleeve and machined - $1750
#13 - 428 - A-Scratch .030 Fresh Bores - 5L6 date - Partially filled about halfway up the cylinders  (Nice Block) - $1450
#14 - 428 - A-Scratch .030 5M18 date - 1 Sleeve - Bores Decent, Has been Run - No ring lip - Sleeve Stepped and done correctly - $1600
#17 - 428 - A-Scratch STD. 5L10 dated - Timing Cover Face Pitted & Main caps are pitted a bit as well - Bores look good - Will need full machining treatment - $1750
#19 - 428 - A-Scratch .030 5L20 dated - Clean Bores - $1500
#21 - 428 - A-Scratch 4.140 .010 5L18 dated - has surface rust from sitting around - $1800
#24 - 428 - C-Scratch .030 1K4 date - Has a stuck piston and needs 1 Sleeve - $1250
#25 - 428 - A-Scratch STD - 5L20 dated - Nice block - $2000

I will sonic test any of the more expensive blocks if buyer wants it done.

1. Be very careful dealing with that fella.

2. I wouldn't buy junk heads for 10k, you'll never be able to sell them. He's had them for 30 years for a reason.

3. Give me a call - we can likely work something out to get you to your mock up goal.

It is highly unlikely to find one at all, let alone reasonably priced. They are very difficult to find and quite pricey. It's the only cast single plane intake that will fit under a hood. EVERYONE wants one...

I am trying, with zero success, to get an insurance policy for my parts/engine collection.  I keep getting told "we cant do that".  Does anyone have any direct, real world experience with this? Better yet, a company recommendation...

Thanks, Joe, I needed a brand to try and use.  Time is an issue on this and that is why I want to try the epoxy route vs other options.

The Belzona product is used in Nuclear reactor facilities and is seriously amazing stuff, but not easy to find for some reason. Per testing it does not shrink, expand or shift in any way once its set.  I am really surprised it is not more known in the muscle car community.  I have heard good things about AB.
