65 Galaxie cast iron headers
« on: March 20, 2013, 06:48:51 PM »
Just finished replacing Sanderson shorty headers with a set of original C5AE long iron headers on my 65 Galaxie and I love them........finally,   all the noise is coming out the back.
I'm running Cherry Bombs strait back without a crossover so there's plenty of noise....it's just not under my feet anymore.

Ive already received 4 compliments from strangers on it's sound, so I'm happy........I guess I'm not the only one who digs that blap blap idle and the pop pop popping on deceleration.

And best of all , according to Jays dyno tests, at my power  level, I sure I'm not giving up any power.....and maybe gaining a few.

The ride to the muffler shop uncorked was fun too...........clutch in while going past the courthouse/police station of course.

Signed,  Happy Camper.
