I don't care if it runs or not, there isn't a word invented to describe how cool that is! And not one CNC machine used. Mad respect for that Ford legend!

Is the crankshaft aluminum (holy flashback to PSE!), or steel?

Also wondering if it runs.

Curious as to why this thread is in the "Non-FE" discussion area?

After all these decades in racing using who knows how many different engine designs it is pretty obvious which one he is most fond of.

This is my old friend Ken Hurst's (RIP) site, he was President of the Bay Area Engine Modelers- even built his own cam grinding machine. BAEM has a site, and a FB page. That little "Challenger V8" was built many years ago, and still screams. You can also search for "Black Widow V8"

I just watched a video of Wood's miniature carburetor running on a full size engine.  I'm betting the half scale engine will run soon.
