If it is a Loadmatic, then it will be very expensive to restore, upwards of ~$750.00 with good core. The '57 Thunderbird distributor does not use the double diaphram distributor, and the CRT is very similar to that distributor. I am installing one in my '55 Thunderbird's new engine next week, and going on the dyno for testing. At least show him the CRT's pictures and specifications. If it is a show car, then rebuild. Joe-JDC
