That is a super nice mount setup and it is a captured design to boot,no need for a strap or limiter with those. My experience with the stock setup has been that it tends to loosen up and allow a lot of movement. The 64-66 T-bird uses a similar design mount setup but I don't think it was as demanding as the Fairlane engines.

Seems to be all good things to say about these i am surprised more venders don't carry these.
If any of the venders here that are willing to ship outside the USA can get me a set of these PM me.
Thank you everyone for the info.

I recently bought a set of those for my Fairlane. He jigs the driver side for the different hole spacing and shape on the different blocks.
Those deals are expensive but they’re damn nice.

Pretty simple to just file that hole upwards till the bolt fits.

I do like the looks of the mount setup fairlaniac has posted, does that use bushing in it or is it solid mount?Does it work with manifolds and headers that work with the stock mount setup?

I have the same ones on mine. They are a polyurethane bushing with a steel sleeve through the center. Yes, they work with headers/manifolds as the stock ones would, only these seem to have a little better clearance than stock ones. I don't worry about a torque strap with these, because I don't think my junk is strong enough to move 'em.

I have always liked that design, how much do they vibrate?

I don't think they are that bad. I have a poly trans mount as well. Mine is a little high strung and has a noticeable exhaust, so I may not be the person to give a true review. I also have a high tolerance to what may be considered streetable. Maybe someone else will add their experience.

I'm with Nightmist66, not bad but I like to feel what is going on. If you wish for this kind of a ride https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdLxM_5_bXo you probably don't want to use them.

The OP was curious about how much shake there might be with the engine mounts described in this thread. This video is of an older 427,(575 hp), in my 67.

I have those on my 68 Montego MX S code Auto (stock except for CJ intake).  Id say there is a little bit more vibration, but not much.  I do feel that the engine feels more responsive, I felt that it was because the poly mounts didnt expand or compress like the factory rubber mounts do.
