Edelbrock heads. Before using the Time-sert helicoil removal?
« on: December 07, 2020, 11:26:47 PM »
The coil is only partially pulled. Is it safe to drill them out or do I need to use another method to remove the coil before hand?

I wouldn't drill out a heli-coil. They are best removed by twisting out with a needle nose. You can use a pick or center punch to get the end started, then grab the pliers.

X2, get the end loose and start unraveling it.
