Off topic slightly 67 FE Mustang factory AC hose routing.
« on: December 06, 2020, 12:52:39 PM »
I bought Original Air reproduction hoses. The liquid line has the offset at the evaporator firewall. The hoses are ran and tied down to the export brace. The material seems extremely stiff compared to the Ford hoses. When the engine torques the hoses pull push the PCV and fitting out of the valve cover grommet.
Has anyone had this issue? Does anyone have a Mustang or Cougar that is unmolested at the firewall where the AC hoses exit they could post?
I appreciate any help.

My A/C has been fiddled with some but I may have the aftermarket hoses you are referring to. My PCV tube is freestanding. Factory elbow out of stock 390 valve cover into the rear facing PCV port.

Hoses in the pics were routed along the firewall on the passenger side and only attached to the export brace on the driver's side where they fed into the compressor. Sightglass was in front close to the core support.
