I spent some time and polished the wheels and they look MUCH better...to me anyway . RMRW 2.0 is only 1 week away now.

Looks good, Alan. This is your first time on a race week with an FE, correct? Good luck and hope everything goes smooth for you.

Yes this is the first time out with the 427 for me...if I make it. I am still doing some last minute fixes. I have been struggling with a vibration problem so I finally took my new driveshaft I bought online from a supposedly reputable business, into a local shop to find out it was bent at the rear. It was out a little over .050" in the back...too much for them to straighten so I had to get the tube replaced and I should have it back by the end of day tomorrow or Thursday. I am glad we found something obvious but aggravated I spent so much for a new driveshaft the was bent. I just hope that fixes it.

Here are a few pics. It is a 427 stroked to a 452 with TF heads Jay Brown intake adapter and a TF Track Heat 351c intake. The block is an agricultural unit that came off an irrigation pump in western Kansas. It is a two bolt main block. It has the bosses for crossbolts but was never machined.

Thanks! The motor in the background is a 521 BBF(460) that was in my 66 Galaxie. I just got it freshened up.
