    • Ford FE Information
When I was stationed at Cam Rahn Bay AB in '68-'69 one of the UNIVAC techs had a GTO.  THE roads (and his driving style - wide open every time he could) destroyed the suspension.

It was still great to get to ride in it each time I got the chance.

I was a USAF computer tech and we supported on the base supply UNIVAC 1050-II computers and the Navy used a different UNIVAC model at their facility at Cam Rahn Bay.

As a Nam vet in 67 & 68, that car is 1000 times cooler than any movie car to me. I wish I had seen it, it would have brought the joy of home to me more than the USO girls did.

Certainly an interesting car that way, not sure it'd be worth millions.
