I wouldn't pay that much for any cover on any engine, having it made would be far less.

In the EBay ad, it claimed that he would not take adime less than $60.00 for the covers. looks like he didn`t have to! The only way I would have paid that kind of money is if there was a 427 underneath them!

Whoa!  ??? The bid history showed several big spenders were interested. Never seen M/T covers quite like those. Mine are the later model ones with the pad and knockouts.

Jay using the Judge Judy Test it makes to much sense for it not to be real. Multiple Bidders, shill bidding would cost a fortune in eBay/PayPal fees as a joke,  Just sit back and admire what some FE nuts will pay.

All it takes is two morons I always say LOL. Kinda like a set of FE aluminum NASCAR heads, they are rather useless being built to be light weight. But still go for insane money.

Several bidders with little to no bidding history, probably all shill bidding. Then they just cancel the sale after it ends. Pointless but sometimes they hook someone.

And while that price is extreme, I know there are guys who will pay some big money for those valve covers.

Simply ghost bidders to drive up the price. They will more than likely get relisted. Or somebody got punked big time and left holding the bag either way they are in today's market worth about 400 max as they are not that rare an item. Not like one off as they were mass produced by the hundreds or even thousands.
