Is this for your Fairlane? That's gonna be plenty stout for a street engine! Hope the rest of your drivetrain is up to the task :)

There are some questionable components Doug. An all aluminum, face plated TL waiting for Fed Ex to pick up from David Kee and a rear housing with 31 spline axles out of a 68 GT 350. We’ll see.

1.29 TQ/cid - pie package.  About 1700 RPM TQ peak to HP peak seems pretty solid too.  Nice piece.

Barry, what were the valve sizes? 2.20/1.75? I can’t recall. The builder was sure impressed with the heads.
The shop does a fair amount of FEs. This one made the most hp of any that have gone through there.

John, I’m starting on a Long shifter install this weekend. Any tips, pics of the required Rhode Island sized opening?

Thanks.

Next time you see RAD, tell them Ross Bullock, from Bullock's Repair in Ware said hello, and glad to see they are doing well.

We used to use them when they were in their small shop near Kmart on Rte 20 in Palmer, I left town almost 26 years ago, so it's been a while. I was a 25 year old kid when they saw me last. Not even sure if they would remember me, and I believe my dad drifted away from them when a machine shop oepned in Ware.

Jim,
I’ll try to get some for you. You can probably make it smaller but I remember getting frustrated and just wanted to get it done. That was 20 years ago....   Rods are very close to the left side of floor pan/ tunnel.

Ross, was Donnie the owner then? I was just there a lot in March/April for this build of course. They do a lot of circle track engines and have probably had half a dozen builds in MCR. When my engine was getting finished up there were two more 427s in there plus a pedestrian 410.
