Not FE or car related whatsoever....but something I'm pretty proud of. The company I work for was selected to help build out the Denver Convention Center into a makeshift hospital in the event that hospital facilities become inundated with patients. This is a big convention hall, so they didn't have near enough sinks or showers to meet healthcare minimums. Those white sink stations we built 112 of them and the shower modules we built 12 of them....in 2-1/2 weeks. I wasn't involved at all in the shower modules, I was dealing with the sink setups, trying to get material from anywhere we could as fast as we could. All of these units house their own electric water heaters because domestic hot water wasn't available, only domestic cold water. Sink stations had to be powder coated with an antimicrobial white product.
It sounds like the facility will be in place through the fall at minimum. Whether or not you think this whole deal is an overreaction or over-hyped is a whole separate discussion (and becoming increasingly political), I'm just proud to be part of pulling together such an undertaking.
