CoronaCruise
« on: April 11, 2020, 06:04:40 PM »
This week we all decided to get out of the house and cruise some old cars around today. Surprising at how quickly all of our friends agreed. My cousin Jeanine works on the ICU floor at the local hospital so we took a drive by there and had a quick parade through the parking lot. People waving out the windows, it was pretty neat. We had never done a cruise like this, every single person said when we got back "why haven't we ever done this before". I guess it's because coronavirus had everybody available to.

My wife and I were just talking about this today, a cruise is a perfect activity that maintains social distancing and provides some needed relief from staying home all the time.  But I wonder how the local gendarmes would react to this.  It would be just like some short-sighted police officer to start issuing tickets to people who they say are just out for a drive...
