does anyone make repro cyclone hoods?

Was thinking of putting one on my 66 and making it functional with two cold air pipes off my duel carbs.

Yes.
Crites.
I've bought a few glass parts from them.
A bit slow on the making/shipping. but good stuff as far as I've seen.
I'd order again. Although I don't think they like shipping to Furiners. lol

Yup.. Crites. They are not horribly responsive to phone or email though. Where are you located? I have an original Cyclone hood sitting in my garage but I'm not horribly interested in shipping it.

I think they have the inner structure made like
a chanel for the air from the opening to a oval air
cleaner Atleast the factory hoods are like that

I would have to make air boxes to hook up to my duel carbs, I could handle that easy enough with a couple K&N cone filters and 5 inch air intake tube fittings. Maybe I'll call it a Psychclone LOL.

I supose you are talking about the hood with
two big rectangular scoops at the leading edge?
there is two chanels on the underside of the hood
from the rectangular opening that goes to a big
oval hole where the aircleaner is i supose it
fits right over a oval Ford aircleaner
so you dont need any 5 inch tubes
just a oval air cleaner or some airbox
that seals to the opening

It is for a 66 comet, the hood has a recess where the scoop is located with one on each side. I did not think they were functional for 66-67 cyclones?

Thought about using a 71 CJ scoop for a stang but I like the cyclone set up better. And with duel carbs it get even more difficult to hook up and still have room to work with.

Wonder if there are scoops available that I could install in my original hood?
