I desperately wanted to drag my junk up there but I have Zero help. Its everything I can do just to load all my stuff up and go to a test and tune 80 miles away, unload everything by myself, do it all and load up and go home. Way to much work for one person. Let alone the 9 he drive dragging it there.  I'll probably be there in the swap meet, hell that's enough work for me.

My plans are to be there with the 68 Colony Park. A couple friends from Connecticut are also working to get things together for the event.

HA HA HAAaaaaa...  They might still be hibernating? jk.   If you haven't been, it's an awesome event.  Here is a slew of videos I grouped together in a playlist. I re-live the events watching these videos on the 46" tv with the volume turned up loud.

I know the guy that makes these videos says he doesnt want to make them anymore. I hope he changes his mind. Besides the fact that he does a good job like First eliminator said it gets ya through till next year.

Russ, 98% who go basically just lurk on the forums and don't post much. You may only get 10 people who respond here, but I guarantee there will be plenty of cars there, and it will definitely be worth the trip, assuming the weather cooperates.

I see that Mike, the new track owner, is updating the track with concrete walls/barriers. I know the issues that Bob had with maintaining insurance at the track without those walls, but I'm not sure how I feel about it. There have been times that no walls saved one of the cars from being mangled up. But then again, Rowdy's '58 may have been saveable if they had been there.

I wait til mid week before that weekend before committing to the trip.  In reality, I should just be "committed".... :o

If yun's would see the mess I got going on right now....I'm trying to figure out why I do this?

Heads up: found out they hit water in my heads this past summer when I had them CNC'd.  Got mucho grande water in the engine while sitting in the garage this winter, rusty cylinders, muck and mire in the oil pan.  I've got it all apart cleaning everything, getting a quick hone job on the cylinders to clean things up and a new set of TF heads getting all my parts put in them.  Ain't life grand?

Yes like Doug and Larry I’m going also. Need to work on car but Mom fell and broke her neck so all hands on deck the past few weeks. Don’t know where she stands so I guess in all reality the reunion is up in the air for me. Sorry to hear about motor Larry what heads did you have on there. And curious how a CNC program go through a wall. I didn’t know that was possible. Maybe the TFS heads will be better. Now you have the rocker pads to contend with.
