Didn’t degree, but checked lobe lift real quick.  Took 30 seconds to check and 5 minutes to clean the sludge off and apologize to my dial indicator.

.2285” lobe lift.

Thanks Brent.
.2285 x 1.73 = .395 valve lift so I'd guess the old 1959-1965 .400 lift vanilla cam, 186-186 duration.
Unless that lobe was really worn.
My apologies to your dial indicator.

We were seeing the net numbers for sure before any tuning.   The gross numbers came with a little bit of work.

Not sure about the color, but it appears that it's been this color all its life.  Who knows.

Were all 66 engines black/gold?  Or just truck?

Very Cool!

ALL 1965 Truck 352's Were black with gold valve covers

ALL 1966 Truck 352's Were Corporate Blue

The 1965/1966  Brochures used same pics.

I currently have 7 1966 F100/250 Trucks. Starting with first couple weeks in production to last couple weeks in production. All were Corporate Blue and at least 4 of those had never been apart prior.  I had a mid year 1965 F250 and it was black with gold covers.

I also had a 1966 F600 361 with only 5k miles and it was corporate Blue.

I have checked actual compression ratio on multiple 352's and they were all under 8.0 comp
