Walking to work
« on: November 04, 2019, 04:35:44 PM »
Was walking to work today and this was on Hollyyweird Blvd.
The Ford v Ferrari movie is premiering down the street and I assume this is to adorn the set.

1967 Ferrari 330 P4, one whale of a great car but not good enough to beat the Mark IV GT-40's. Looks though like a non-running Hollywood model as the front underbody framework one can see looks funky.

A fellow in the Northeast has both cars and drives them regularly. Lucky guy I guess!

two things.
1: Would a real one be left out for display?
2: Would it show up on an old open trailer?

Answer:   Not likely on both counts.

Pretty darned cool car. Probably a replica. I've been trying to get my spousal unit all excited to go see the movie. Nothing but crickets. Lol But the guy by the trailer looks like the Pawn Stars guy.

What you can’t see Larry is this is a secure area with lots o’ cops.
I don’t know if it was a model or not, but it’s just a beautiful car.
I saw a news blurb on it and the star dudes drove a cobra onto the set.
Don’t know about that one either.

I see the fencing along the back side, but wasn't sure what it all included.  Even if it is just a kit, I'm sure they don't want some idiot trying to take it for a random, unauthorized test drive!!!

LOL!!

Don't know if anyone saw it, but Jay Leno had a discussion with Matt Damon about the movie. This is just a 7 minute segment of it, but still interesting enough to watch.
