Has anyone heard of Hot Rod Harry Water Pumps. I can't find a website on him or even a mention of him on any of the forums. He's got these polished aluminum water pumps that I wondered was any good. Thanks, Jim

IF it is the same person selling on ebay the pumps are just Edelbrock pumps that have been polished.

Never heard of harry but Edelbrock makes a nice one for under 200 bucks. I am going electric to shed weight and HP loss myself. The meziere is what I settled on.

fe66comet,
I thought, that guy's nuts, every Edelbrock I found from Summit or anywhere else was over $260 bucks. Found one on Ebay for $204 with free shipping from USParts. Thanks for making me look again. Jim

Me thinks Hot Rod Harry uses a PRW pump.
Lower cost aluminum pump than the Edelbrock.
I have never had one in my hands or run one, but they look good in the pics.
Shop around and they sell for a bit less.

I have an Ed pump that I ran on the 428 for a few years with no issues.
Summit has them for $224.95.
Probably find them a bit cheaper on the ebay.

There are few guys that had success, and a few guys with galled push rods and broken adjusters.

Hard to say if the bad adjusters were due to incorrect push rod length keeping them from getting oiled properly or manufacturing problems

My machinist used a few on some mild FEs he did for a local customer and says they are junk, but when I asked him why, he seemed more pissed off about setting them up than quality.

For me, I am not sure I'd buy them at all, but if you do, don't buy them direct.  They are available for over 100 dollars cheaper all over the web.
