Thoughts on shipping a small non running car San Francisco to NJ
Any idea what it would cost?

A lot unless someone is needing a load badly.
I know full truck freight from AR to LA is about $2,850. Would be cheaper heading back your way to a point.

I just shipped a running car from Northern CA to Central NY, cost $2000 for an enclosed (soft side) trailer. Shipped a non-running project car from Northern FL last year, cost $3000 for a hard sided trailer. CF to NJ is likely to be a good bit more.
