Aluminum intake fittings
« on: October 06, 2019, 07:11:49 PM »
I’m close to installing my 428 ..waiting for the headers . So I’m trying to get as much installed as I can. I’ve found aluminum heater hose fittings but the only thing I’m finding for the vacuum tree is steel or brass. What would be the choice for an aluminum intake? And since the rpm vacuum port is on the front was going to run hardline to the back for brake booster and trans modulator.

If a choice, I'd go brass. Either way though, some anti-seize compound would allow easy removal.

Depending on how you're installing it you may want to leave the fittings off until it's in.
